QUITO AND ITS ENVIRONMENTS.

Quito is the capital of Ecuador and it has a combination of modern and colonial architecture, with beautiful valleys and diversity of climates among its surroundings.

ITINERAY
5 DAYS AND 5 NIGHTS


 

DAY 1. Attendance in the airport and transfer to the hotel

DAY 2. CITY LINE visiting the colonial center and traveling to churches such as San Agustín, La Catedral, La Compañia and San Francisco. San Francisco is built on Incan ruins and it is one of the biggest churches built inside an urban helmet in Latin America. El Panecillo, a natural mirador, is a representation of the Virgin of Legarda. Later on we will continue our journey through the city.At the Middle of the World, you can walk in the two hemispheres. There will have lunch and in the afternoon we will return to the hotel.

DAY 3. Very early in the morning we will travel to Otavalo where we will have a experience the indigenous culture. In the itinerary a visit to the Guayllabamba Zoo is planned. It isone of the most beautiful zoos in South America. Then in Cayambe we will delight with a typical breakfast. We will observe the lake San Pablo and finally the indigenous market. Later we will have lunch and then visit San Antonio de Ibarra, characteristic for its wood carved crafts. In the afternoon we will return to Quito.

DAY 4. In the morning we will visit Mindo in order to observe a great variety of beautiful insects that they live there. Later on we will carry out a great adventure by yacht along the Mindo River.<o:p</o:p After th AfAfter this, we will be served a delicious lunch. In the afternoon we will visit the orquideario, where we will see more than one hundred species of the Queen of Flowers.

MOUNTAIN RANGES CITIES

In the Ecuadorian Mountains there are some beautiful cities that are part of the ranges surrounded by mountains, valleys and active volcanoes.

BAÑOS.

PLAN A 
We will leave very early in the morning  for Baños,  on the way we will cross the Avenue of the Volcanoes  and we will see Cayambe, Antizana, Cotopaxi, Ilinizas, and Tungurahua. When we reach Baños, we will have breakfast and  later on we will visit the cascade "De la Novia." After that we will visit the zoological park. In the afternoon we will have lunch and  then go to see the volcano Tungurahua. After that we will visit the cascade "Pailón del Diablo".At night we will return to Quito

PLAN B: 2 DAYS 1 NIGHT

DAY 1. We will reachreahchreach Baños and  have lunch. In  the afternoon we will visit the sanctuary of the virgin of Agua Santa and then a museum.  Later on we will take a short walk to see the volcano Tunguragua where we will have time to see the eruption of a volcano. At night we will go to a thermal water pool. After that we will visit the city in the night.

 DAY 2.- In the morning after breakfast, we will go to the east by car to see several types of earth, a beautiful cloudy forest, and  several cascades; Agoyán and Mantel of the Girlfriend. Then we will take a short walk to see "Pailón del Diablo" Cascade. Return to Baños. After lunch we will visit the cascade Inés María.

CUENCA

We will start our visit in this beautiful city. We will see  houses of colonial style combined with the modern structure, monasteries such as La Inmaculada, Carmen, and The Cathedral, and also the archaeological museum that belongs to the Central Bank.


GUALACEO AND CHORDELEG

Leaving Cuenca, we will cross valleys and mountains until we will arrive in Chordeleg, famous for their crafts of gold and silver. After this visit we will go to Gualaceo. Every Sunday Gualaceo has a famous market, where you can find ceramic articles, textiles, hats and many other things.<><>


NATIONAL PARK COTOPAXI

Crossing the Avenue of Volcanoes, we will go to Cotopaxi, considered one of the most marvelous lands in all of Ecuador. Cotopaxi is one of the highest active volcanoes in the world (5,897 m). It is considered a national park and ecological Ecuadorian reservation, with 36,000 hectares. Here you will have the opportunity to admire the moon of Limpiopungo surrounded by wild life and animals. Lunch will be provided in a restaurant in the town.<><>


FOREST PROTECTIVE PASOCHOA

45 minutes outside of Quito is Pasochoa, a volcano crater that contains an old forest. The path is clearly demarcated for so the area cannot be damged. The walks are given by a guide who is an expert of the zone and who works exclusively for this forest reservation. This is also a unique opportunity for observing Andean birds.


FOREST TROPICAL MINDO

Traveling toward the northeast, crossing the Andean region we will arrive to this mysterious place where you can enjoy the exotic vegetation and immense variety of birds. This area is in a tropical rain forest.

These are centers of commercial exchange where you can find a wide variety of folkloric objects characteristic of each culture.

LATACUNGA
C
rossing  Chillos Valle ywe will penetrate to the Avenue of Los Andes, admiring the snow covered Cayambe, Antizana, Ilinizas and Cotopaxi. In  Latacunga we will admire the commercialization of the agricultural products in a colorful market with very cheerful people wearing red and blue ponchos.

SAQUISILI
This market is divided into five independent squares where you will appreciate the life of our natives upon seeing their agricultural products, crafts and animals. This market is located 50 miles south of Quito. During the journey we will visit one hostel in the town.<><><><>

PUJILI
This is a very colored market. Pujili is a small town where the main business is product exchange. Natives of this town also market ceramic crafts. The most typical figures are alcancías (boxes to keep money) with their own hands.<><>

SALCEDO
Taking the Panamerican south road, crossing Chillos Valley and teh Avenue of the Volcanoes, you will enjoy the beautiful landscape until we reach the market in Salcedo, one of the most important towns as far as the commercialization of animals and vegetables.

3 DAYS And 2 NIGHTS

DAY 1. Crossing the Avenue of Volcanoes, we will pass the cities of Latacunga and Ambato. During the journey it is possible to visit an indigenous market of the zone (except for on Fridays). Lunch will be provided in Ambato and you will visit a Salasacas community. From here we will go to Baños, another Small City, well known like the door of amazon. We will stay  in a hotel in town. If time permits we will have a brief visit in the area, in order to admire the beauty, for example, plants from the tomato tree and a great variety of orchids.

DAY 2. We will return to the city by the Avenue of the Volcanoes and Chillos Valley. If the departure day is Friday, the market in Latacunga will be visited on Saturday. Meals is included (breakfast, lunch and dinner.)<><><><>
